Silly River

That silly river is freezing up. A bunch of students live on the other side of aforementioned freezing river, and didn't come to school today because their boats have been pulled from the water.

District sez we must have 60% of our students present in order to call it a school day.

As of 9:40 today, we were 28 students short... so no school.

School tomorrow? Stay tuned, folks.

Hi! Its Kara from NS who lives in Kugluktuk!

That is funny about having that many kids in school! Getting kids to go to school here is a huge problem! There should be about 350 kids in the elementary school, but on a good day there is about 200. If we had the same rule, there would never be school!

Please write me anytime! I love to hear from people in the north:

You must really miss your Honda!! What kind of skidoo did you get? Everything here is good and froze over! The Arctic Ocean is solid now and we have a few feet of snow. Nice to get the Polaris "skidoo" out for a run now!
